02. Introuction.
In the lately 2019, I joined Ideaworks at Mohawk College (Canada) to work on a project for Flow CPA. The main idea was to create a website that explains the service offered by the accounting firm to small business owners. The Team had implemented a non-intuitive interface where clients through a questionnaire will reveal their accounting needs.
03. The Problem.
This project was fun but hectic. We were up against a really short deadline and lots of questions, but the team Ideaworks pulled together made it happen. FlowYDI website came the opportunity to go after different demographics and I ensured that the design honed messages imagery for a new variety of clients.
03A. Analysis.
The first step? minimize the number of interactions in the performance of the interface. The design focuses on one chief function per with progressive disclosure.
04. The Solution.
I decided that FlowDIY has to have a unique look and feel to separate it from the other company's businesses. I develop a UX and UI interface that is useful to attract new clients. The new platform empowers customers to interact and self-express themselves with accounting services, app services and different benefits from FlowDIY.
04A. Customer Interface.
Coming up with the names of web-services and its discounts or benefits from FlowDIY, was just as important as the look and feel of the project. The customer's interface was centred on be useful and intuitive. I applied the rule of thumb: one primary action per screen with lots of detail in user attention
04B. Mobile Interface.
The next step: focus on clarity as to the most important characteristic of this phase. The UI Mobile Interface allows customers to understand what the interface is helping them interact with, predict what will happen when they use it, and then successfully synergy with the application.
04C. Operational Dashboard.
With the newly created product, it was time to put together all of the brand assets needed to launch the dashboards. The aim was to deliver critical information quickly to staff as they are engaged in time-sensitive tasks. The main goal is to present data to staff quickly and clearly.
